Pampore Road Mishap: Police appeals eyewitness to record statement

PAMPORE: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has appealed eye witnesses of Pampore road mishap to record their statements immediately regarding a road mishap in which two teenage girls were killed and another injured.
The accident occurred on Tuesday evening near Tulbagh area of Pampore in which two teenage girls Nazila Jan daughter of Mohammad Rafiq Bhat resident of Tulbagh Pampore and Tabin Nazir daughter of Nazir Ahmad Pandit residents of Namblabal Pampore were killed and another girl Natika Jan daughter of Mohammad Rafiq Bhat seriously injured and battling for life at SMHS hospital Srinagar.
Preliminary investigations by police revealed that driver of a Alto Car was driving rash and hit three teenage pedestrians.
The driver of the car was arrested and a case was registered at police station Pampore.
SDPO Pampore, Imtiyaz Ahmad, told Kashmir Reader that they will be recording statement of eyewitnesses in this case.
“We appeal general people who have any information regarding the case to record their statement in police station Pampore, ” he said.
A case FIR no 57/2020 under sections 279, 337, 427 IPC has been already registered at police station Pampore
