47 COVID-19 patients discharged from isolation centres
PAMPORE: The Sub district Hospital in Pampore has started rapid antigen test for COVID-19.
Block Medical Officer Pampore, Dr. Gulzar told Kashmir Reader that this test facility will be a breather for pregnant ladies who were not admitted before getting a COVID-19 free certificate. He said that the routine testing would take 3 to 4 days to get results.
“With this facility test reports are processed within a half hour and pregnant ladies in labour pain would have not to be referred for want of COVID-19 certificate,” he said.
Meanwhile, In a major breakthrough amid COVID-19 scare, health authorities in Pampore have discharged 47 more COVID-19 patients who were found positive in Isolation Centre Pampore after all of them have recovered from the disease.
Health authorities in Pampore medical block sent 47 persons, who recovered from COVID-19, home from isolation centres in PHC Samboora and covid care hospital Kongposh Pampore during past two days.
The recovered persons included 23 females and children and 16 adult males from different areas of Pampore and Pulwama areas, BMO Pampore Dr Gulzar Ahmad said.
BMO Pampore Dr Gulzar Ahmad and doctors congratulated the recovered patients and urged upon them to remain in home quarantine for some time as a precautionary measure.
Pampore block reported a total of 342 cases since March out of which 232 recovered .
” 110 cases of COVID-19 are under observation,” he said.
