Follow health guidelines, cooperate with health teams: BMO Pampore

PAMPORE: Block Medical Officer (BMO) Pampore Dr Gulzar Ahmad on Monday appealed people to follow health department guidelines and cooperate with health teams conducting samples.
He told Kashmir Reader that it has come to the notice of this office that many people did not cooperate with teams assigned the duty of sample collection as these teams have to face unnecessary ire of the people going through sampling.
“ All the people are requested to follow health department guidelines if they want to fight this pandemic which is becoming a major problem for the world health experts,” he said adding that cooperation with teams collecting samples and those implementing quarantine of immediate contacts would definitely make a difference.
He told Kashmir Reader that in Pampore block tests were being collected on daily bases including the holidays.
While briefing about the Covid-19 cases, he said that Pampore Medical Block had 220 cases out of which 91 have recovered and a few deaths.
He told Kashmir Reader that in last few days the number of cases has increased as a sharp spike was witnessed on Sunday as 59 cases including 20 CRPF personnels tested positive in Pampore medical block.
