BARAMULLA: A minor boy was drown in a local stream in Chogal area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday evening. Local sources said that some children were bathing in a stream in Chogal village, among them a child lost balance and drowned into the stream.
Soon after the incident large number of people reached the spot and a rescue, later they retrieved the minor boy and shift him to nearby hospital, where doctors declare him bought dead. The deceased child was identified as Umer Farooq son of Farooq Ahmad Shah resident of Chogal Handwara.
