SRINAGAR: Ganderbal FC down FC Naidkhai by 2-1 in the ongoing 7th Mushtaq Memorial Football tournament played at Sports ground Hajin on Saturday.
Ganderbal FC dominated the proceedings from the outset of the first half and makes several moves from both the flanks, GFC opened the account when striker Ibrahim put the ball in the net and gave his side a early lead ,as teams went for break scoreline remain 1-0 in favour of GFC.
In second half of the game Naidkhai FC made several moves to find the equalizer and they were succeed in finding the equalizer in 56th minute of the game when Striker Mohammad Umer scored brilliant goal to level the score.
In the dying moment of the game striker Adil Ahmad converted a free kick into goal to make it 2-1 in favour of Ganderbal FC which remain final scoreline till the final whistle blew. As the final whistle blew up final score line remained 2-1 in favour of Ganderbal FC .
In tomorrow’s exhibition fixture Srinagar XI is scheduled to lock horns with DFA Hajin at Sports ground Hajin.
