Baramulla: The general officer commanding (GoC) 19 infantry division Baramulla on Saturday said that there are 300 militants at launching pads on the other side of LoC who are ready to infiltrate into this side of Kashmir in the next few months.
Addressing a press conference at Baramulla, General Virender Vats said that Indian troops are ready to challenge any situation at LoC. “All the launching pads on other side of LoC have been fully occupied by the militants. Around 250 to 300 militants are ready to infiltrate into this side but our troops are on high alert and they are ready to challenge any infiltration,” he said, warning that in the next three to four months infiltration may be increased.
