SRINGAR: In the Inaugral match of Wullar Gold Cup 2020 Iqbal FC Bandipora defeated Hashmee FC by 2-1 at Wullar Sports Ground in Laharwalpora area of Bandipora District here on Tuesday.
From Iqbal FC, striker Iqbal Dar, midfielder Burhan Basit scored a goal each and From Hashmee FC, Striker Arish Ahmad scored the lone goal of the Match. From Iqbal FC Iqbal dar scored first goal in the 12th minute & minutes after, Arish scored an equaliser from Hashmee FC in the 20th minute of the match. It was Basit from Iqbal FC, who Scores 2nd goal of the play from Iqbal FC.
Meanwhile a decen gathering of spectators and sports lovers from Nook and corner of area witnessed the match.
The Tournament is being organized by Bandipora Football Community.
