SRINAGAR: The 400th Global Gurupurnima Celebrations Of Mata Shree Roopbhawani (Bhagwati Sharikaansh) were launched with gaiety and fervor at Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust( Regd) Dedmar, Nawakadal, Srinagar, now at Tirath Nagar, Jammu.
The Celebrations Started with invocation of Mata Shree Roopbhawani with the Guru Mantra Aavirbhuta Janak Tapasa.
Roopbhawani is the lone mystic patron saint of Kashmir, who was initiated into the spiritual realm by her father and guru, Shri Madhav Joo Dhar. During the celebrations, Mata shree’s mystic sayings in the form of poetry called ‘Rahasyopadesha’ were recited by president SAST CM Dhar and other bhaktas.
This was followed by recitation of Veda Mantras and aarti of Matashree. The bhaktas were served prasad, after the prayers and aarti.
