Pampore: Test reports of 23 persons from different villages of Pampore medical block returned positive for COVID -19 on Monday.The positive cases include a pregnant lady from Wuyan village of Pampore.
13 persons from Shaar Shali , all contacts of a COVID positive butcher from same village and 4 persons from Ladhoo, contacts of COVID positive shopkeeper from same village were detected positive for COVID -19.
3 persons from Jawbehara and 1 from Khadermoh village and 1 from Malangpora too were detected positive for COVID -19.
Medical officer Pampore, Dr. Mohammad Ashraf told Kashmir Reader that 21 persons were already in quarantine.
“These include 13 family members of COVID positive butcher from Shaar Shali and four contacts of a COVID positive shopkeeper from Ladho,” he said, adding that three persons from Jawbehara were quarantined at estate quarters in Pampore.
He added that only two cases, one from Malangpora and other from Khadermoh, were out of quarantine.
He added that they were in the process of shifting them to an isolation facility.
The samples of these persons were collected on 2 of July which returned positive today.
