JKECC calls for immediate regularisation of temporary government employees, releasing their wages

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC)on Thursday said that the government should regularise all the daily wagers,casual labours and other temporary employees who are working in the differentdepartments across the Jammu and Kashmir from 15 years and release their pending wages immediately.
Addressing a press conference here at Kashmir Press ClubSrinagar, President of JKECC, Shah Fayaz told reporters that regularisationissue of the daily wagers and casual labours and other temporary employees is a serious issue upon the grounds thegovernment should regularise these temporary employees which are serving thedepartment from the last 15 years.
“The casual labours working at Sindh Forest Division in Category (C) are without wages from last oneyear and the government should release the wages in favor of these Casuallabours,” he said Fayaz said that the government should create the job policyand regularisation of the services for the employees who are working in thedifferent departments and enhance the wages in favor of Rehbar-e- Khail, NYC’s working in differentdepartments.
“We are demanding the government release of the wages infavor of 342 casual labours working in the tourism department, 1187 casuallabours working in the wildlife department and release of pending wages in favorof shikaaris working in fisheries the department,” He said.
He added that regularisation of the services for the CPW’s,cooks working in the education department, NREGA staff working in ruraldevelopment department. The job policy for NYC’S, NHM employees working in thehealth department, Rehbar-e- Khail,NREGA staff and resolution of empanelledRETs and issuing orders in favor ofthese candidates must be carried immediately.
