Banning Chinese mobile apps hits their economy, makes us self-reliant: BJP leader

SRINAGAR: A day after Government of India (GoI) banned Chinese apps in India, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Youth wing’s National Vice President Er Aijaz Hussain said that it will be a tribute to the soldiers recently killed at Galwan Valley,and will also will open opportunities for local entrepreneurs, a step that take the nation towards becoming the self-reliant economy.
“It is a welcome much needed step,” Hussain who is also Youth in-charge West Bengal said in a statement. “On one side it will make China bleed, while on the other, it will make us stronger. It shows we are ruled by a visionary Prime Minister who will make India great once again.”
Hussain made the statement after the government banned 59 Chinese mobile applications, including top social media platforms such as TikTok, Helo and WeChat, to counter the threat posed by these applications to the country’s “sovereignty and security.” ShareIT, UC browser and shopping app Club Factory are among the other prominent apps that have been blocked.
According to Hussain, the move shows how a decision that can empower the country while at the same time will teach a lesson.
“Aatmanirbhar Bharat , an initiative towards self-reliance is the end achievement of the move. It is just a matter of time to reap the benefits, Chinese were given befitting reply in the past, they are given now, and will be given in future,” he added.
Hussain said that Atmanirbhar (self-reliant) initiative has been very well received to enable the resurgence of the Indian economy, which is based on five pillars that include economy, infrastructure, system, vibrant demography and demand.
“We are winning every day under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narinder Bhai Modi ji,” he added.
