Six patients recover from COVID-19 in Pampore

PAMPORE: Six more persons were sent home from isolation centre at a private hospital in Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday evening after recovering from corona virus infection.
Dr. Mohammad Zahoor, incharge COVID-19 isolation facility at the hospital Pampore told Kashmir Reader that results of 9 samples which were collected on 23 June, 2020, returned on Friday.
“Out of which 6 returned negative and 3 positive,” he said, adding that the persons whose test results returned negative were sent home and three others were retained.
The discharged persons, which belonged to different villages of Pulwama, included a pregnant lady and a minor.
Around 48 persons have been discharged so far since the outbreak of pandemic from the hospital after recovery from COVID-19.Doctors at the hospital told that 28 patients are still under observation at the isolation facility.
