J&K Bank orginises DLRC meet at Anantnag

CD ratio of the district stood at 64.23 percent

Srinagar: J&K Bank today organized a District Level Review Committee meeting at the Dak Bungalow Anantnag to review the performance of banks operating in district Anantnag for the quarter ended March, 2020,.
District Development Commissioner Anantnag Kuldeep Krishan Sidha chaired the meeting that was attended by the representatives of line departments and district level officers of various Banks and the government departments.
Lead District Manager (LDM), Afaq Ahmad informed the house that total deposits of the district as on 31st March, 2020 were at Rs 5664.64 Cr while as the advances stood at Rs 3638.58 Cr. The CD ratio of the district stood at 64.23 percent. It was also conveyed to the forum that despite all odds including the ongoing pandemic, the achievement under AAP 2019-20 was 63 percent of the set target with a disbursal of an amount of Rs 1687.62 Cr out of which Rs 677.97 Cr went to agricultural sector.
The LDM stated that J&K Bank’s contribution was 80 percent on the total deposits and 81.15 percent of advances portfolio of the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman DLRC urged all the participants to increase their co-ordination so that the developmental objectives are achieved well in time.
