Baramulla: An army porter was injured in a landmine blast along the line of control (LOC) in Uri area of Baramulla district on Friday. Official said that
They said Bashir Ahmad Jinder, 30, son of Noor-ud-Din Jinder a resident of Charunda village working Indian army as porter received serious foot injuries when he accidently stepped on a mine planted at Raino post of Hajipeer sector on Friday morning.
He was shifting commodities from one post to another post with other porters.
The injured was later shifted to hospital where he is said to be stable.
