Baramulla: Two minors including a girl and a boy lost tehir lives in two seperate acidents in North Kashmir area A minor girl drowned while taking a bath in a local stream in Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday afternoon.
Local sources said that a minor girl identified as Ifra Jan seven daughter of Farooq Ahmad Khan of Chatloora Rafiabad drowned in nallah Hamal in Rafiabad when she taking a bath in the stream with other children.
Soon after the news large number people reached the stream banks and start a rescue to retrieve the child, however search started by locals and police was still on. Meanwhile a minor boy was hit by a tractor in Handwara in Vilagam Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday morning.
Reports said that a minor identified as Fazil Ahmad son of Fayaz Ahmad Lone of Kenil Vilgam Handwara was hit by a speedy tractor bearing registration number JK09 3658 on Wednesday morning near his home. He was shifted to district hospital Handwara where he was declared brought dead.
Handwara police registered a case under relevant act and further investigation has been started.
