SHOPIAN: Authorities on Saturday sealed 53 shops at Wachi village of Shopian which is a red zone as three covid19 cases from the area have been reported since the last five days.
An official said that the shopkeepers there didn’t listen to the verbal communication and violated the guidelines issued in wake of covid19 pandemic. “Even a Barber from area has been reported positive of this disease and we found that he was providing door to door services from two months,” Fida Muhammad Bhat, Tehsildar Zainpora told Kashmir Reader.
He said that the driver was taken to tackle the situation which arose in wake of covid19 in the area.” The sealed shops are of different commodities like Kiryana, ready-made and other items, ” Bhat said. He said that fines from people for not wearing masks were also taken by them at public places.
He was accompanied by Naib tehsildar Wachi.
