Srinagar: Team Red Foundation, a premier NGO of JK carried out a donation drive in the far flung areas of Tekipura, Lalpora, Sogam, Wavoora, Gundi Mancher areas of Kupwara.
The team local team Red Volunteers made various stopovers across many hamlets in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district distributing the necessary household merchandise, edibles to the people at need.
According to the NGO on the instructions Chairman TeamRed Sadaat Sogami, local volunteers of the team headed by Waqar Wani (District Cordinator), Wasim (Incharge Donation Drives), Tahir Shafi (Dy. District Cordinator), and Wariq Gulzar (Media I. C) distributed the necessary items to people.
It said that the locals appreciated the measure and lauded the efforts of Team Red and Sadaat Sogami for reaching out to them in the times of prevailing lockdown induced by global COVID-19 crises and forthcoming Eid Ul Fitr.
Team Red Members, while maintaining necessary COVID-19 protocol successfully distributed essential commodities to the needy at their door steps. While expressing satisfaction over successful conduct of donation drive said that they would continue to work for the deprived sections of society.
“This is just our small contribution to the society; we will continue to conduct such drives wherever people are at need. We look forward to have more people join our noble cause,” Waqar Wani district coordinator said.
