Srinagar,: Bhartiya Janata Party J&K spokesman Altaf Thakur greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and prayed for the everlasting peace and prosperity of the UT.
In a statement, Thakur said that Eid reminds us to take care of the poor, destitute and downtrodden and it is the utmost duty of the people across J&K, especially Kashmir to take care of the poor lot in their localities.
He prayed that may this Eid turn as the harbinger of peace, prosperity, and development in the J&K UT. BJP leader urged people to follow the Covid-protocol and to maintain social distance and to stay home on this festival and not to put the lives at risk.
He said that all the guidelines issued by the government should be followed in spirit and that no large gathering should be held on the occasion of Eid as that’s for the betterment of humans and humanity as the Covid is an invisible enemy that people of globe are fighting.
