Srinagar: Rohit Kansal, IAS Principal Secretary PDD GoJK has visited Chenab Valley Power Projects (P) Limited Corporate Office, Jammu on Friday.
On his arrival he was received by M S Babu Managing Director CVPPPL along with senior officers of the company. Principal Secretary was shown the layout and major components of 1000MW Pakal Dul and 624 MW Kiru HE Projects through the model of the projects.
Present status of construction works of Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar HE Projects are also explained to him through a detailed presentation. Benefits to the UT in general and local people in particular from the projects are informed to the Principal Secretary besides pending issues of the projects. Kansal has appreciated the management for the progress achieved and advised for early completion of the projects. He has assured all support from the Govt required for construction of the projects and also promised that efforts shall be made for early start of Kwar HE Project.
