BARAMULLA: After health department, now the transport department has start to check the body temperature of all the drivers on roads. Official sources in the transport department said that under the supervision of ARTO Sopore Jamsheed Chodery several teams of traffic department started were deployed on the main roads on Srinagar Baramulla, Srinagar Kupwara and at other roads.
Talking to Kashmir Reader ARTO Sopore Jamsheed Chodery said that they also started to check the body temperature of drivers mostly truck drivers who are coming with essential commodities from outside the Jammu and Kashmir. He said the transport department provides us the digital thermometers and we installed several mobile checking centres from Srinagar to Baramulla and Kupwara where our men are checking body temperature of drivers, if we find anything suspicious we can contact health department, he added.
