Srinagar: An unidentified militant has been killed in the ongoing gunfight with government forces in old Srinagar’s Nawakadal, police said.
The encounter started around predawn on Tuesday at Kanemazar area of Nawakadal.
J&K Police confirmed on twitter about the killing of one militant in the encounter adding the operation was still on.
