Pampore: Principal Government Degree College Pampore, Dr Seema Naz, on Saturday presented a cheque of rupees fifty thousand to chief medical officer (CMO) Pulwama for COVID -19 fund.
The principal took over the charge of Govt Degree College (GDC) Pampore recently and since then she has taken plethora of measures against spread of COVID-19 in the college premises and in its vicinity. The college administration distributed hand sanitisers, face masks and other safety items to general public in Pampore area.
The administration also played their part in raising awareness among students and community about the pandemic.
“The principal madam is an epitome of generosity, humanity and charity, she is taking great interest in welfare measures of society and at the same time taking a keen interest about welfare college staff,” one of the teaching faculty at GDC Pampore said.
