BANDIPORA : Police in Bandipora arrested a drug peddler in Sumbal. A police party of police station Sumbal led by SHO PS Sumbal under the supervision of SDPO Sumbal arrested one person namely Manzoor Ahmad Bhat R/o Batwina Ganderbal and recovered 29 Bottles of psychotropic substance Codeine Phosphate from his possession.
In this connection Case FIR No.75/2020 under relevant sections of NDPS act has been registered at Police Station Sumbal and further investigation taken up.
General Public is requested to come forward with any Information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood.
Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances will be dealt strictly as per law.
