SRINAGAR: Police in Kulgam have arrested arrested 10 persons and seized eight vehicles in Kulgam for defying government imposed restrictions. In the jurisdiction of Police Station Qazigund, Police have arrested eight persons and seized similar number of vehicles for defying the restrictions orders. Case FIR No. 129/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Qazigund and have started investigation into the matter.

In the jurisdiction of PS Kulgam, police have arrested two persons for violating the restriction orders. In this regard police have registered a case FIR No. 83/2020 under relevant sections of law at Police Station Kulgam and further investigation into the case has been initiated. Police have once again requested the general public to follow the restrictions imposed by government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and those who are violating the restriction orders will be dealt strictly.
