NC leader expresses dismay over govt’s attitude towards stranded Kashmiris

Srinagar : National Conference leader and MP Muhammad Akbar Lone on Sunday expressed dismay over the “callous attitude” of the government towards the evacuation of Kashmiri students, labourers and traders stranded in different parts of India. Seeking special transportation arrangement for the return of all the stranded, Lone in a statement said, “States across the country are doing everything possible to ensure safe return of stranded students, traders and devotees back to their native places in their respective states. Unfortunately, J&K administration doesn’t seem to be serious enough in ensuring the safe return of its people stranded across various cities in the country.”
