GANDERBAL: District administration here on Friday declared Gutlibagh village as red zone and its surrounding areas buffer zones after Covid-19 positive case was detected in the area. With this case, Covid-19 positive cases in the district have reached 14.

District Magistrate Shafqat Iqbal said that there would be no inward and outward movement of any person from the village declared red zone and the people should stay in their homes to ensure complete lockdown and warned stern action against the violators as per the provisions of the relevant laws. “34 people from Gutlibagh and Mammar have been quarantined, who have come in contact with the infected person as per the initial reports,” DM said.
