Pampore: Dr Gurdeep Singh of south Kashmir’s Buygund Tral has composed a song on the subject of coronavirus and it has become a hit on his Facebook page. The name he has chosen for the artist in himself is “Deep Singer”.

Artists around the world have been composing and releasing songs on social media, including rap songs, on the coronavirus. In the same trend, Dr Gurmeet has come up with a song-cum-advice to people to follow all precautions, besides singing of Kashmir and offering prayers to all humanity from this pandemic.

Dr Gurmeet’s song is n the style of a rap that ranges from cautionary tales to benefits of wearing masks to lauding the role of doctors. Talking to Kashmir Reader, Dr Gurmeet said, “I have highlighted through this song the serious public health concerns and have requested people to remain indoors. I have also advised people to wash their hands, follow medical guidelines, help the needy, and pray to God for mercy.”
