KULGAM: The authorities here have barricaded Reshipora and Naikpora areas of Kulgam which have been declared red zones. DM said that it has become imperative to take stringent precautionary measures to break the chain of Coronavirus infection. He said that to ensure that no inward or outward movement takes place in the Reshipora and Naikpora red zone areas strict restrictions have been put in place.

He said that sufficient stock of essentials is available and people of red zones areas can contact 24×7 helpline number 7006568063, 7006435774 and 7889432147 for delivery of essentials at their doorsteps. DM has already declared Sopat, Tengpora, Mohalla Batpora and Mohalla Bagbal of Revenue village KBPora, Reshipora ward 4 and Naikpora A & B of ward NO-2 of MC as red zones to break the chain of Coronavirus infection. He appealed people to stay home and follow the advisories of health department and administration in letter and spirit.
