Darul Khair praises docs, NGOs, media for their work during lockdown

Srinagar: Darul Khair on Sunday praised paramedics, NGOs, media and other organisations for doing social work during Covid-19 lockdown. In a statement, Darul Khair said, “On the recommendation of doctors, an oxygen concentrator bank has been created that has 8 to 10 concentrators for patients affected with Covid-19 virus who may need oxygen support either in hospitals or at home.

Also, personal protective equipment (PPE) has been donated to hospitals and health care workers throughout the valley. Hospitals in Baramulla, Pulwama and Ganderbal have so far been given around 250 PPEs. More PPEs are being procured to support health care workers.” “Darul Khair is also distributing food and other relief items among the needy either directly on confirmation of those in need or in collaboration with local Masjid committees in Mohallas and localities. Most of our relief work is in downtown and adjoining areas of Srinagar,” it reads.
