Baramulla: Baitul Falah Yateem trust on Friday distributed food and essential commodities widows in north Kashmir’s Singhpora. Chairman Yateem Trust Dr Fida Abdul Qayom in a statement said, “Today we have started a program under which 20 widows were provided with food and in total 120 widows who are registered with us will be provided with the essential commodities in the coming week.” He said that the trust would have distributed essentials among all the widows, “but following the government orders, they initiated it with only 20 widows while as rest of the 100 widow’s will be provided with essentials at their doorsteps. The trust will start door-to-door distribution from Saturday onwards to avoid gatherings at the office”.
