Srinagar: Amid the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the National Testing Agency on Tuesday, tentatively scheduled the JEE Mains Examination 2020 in the last week of May.
An official communiqué issued by Director General NTA, Dr Vineet Joshi said that the exact dates for the test would be notified after assessing the situation arising from COVID-19 pandemic and the simultaneous lockdown in India.
While the agency hoped to get back to normal work soon, “but for now, we are closely monitoring the scenario to evaluate if the situation may necessitate any change in the schedule”, the statement said.
It said that the admit cards for the test would be issued to the students after April 15 based on the situation at the time.
The agency also said it would keep students updated about the latest developments and would inform them about changes and exact dates of examination in advance.
