Kashmir Trade Alliance voices concern over panic buying, urges for reasonable pricing

SRINAGAR: Kashmir Trade Alliance (KTA) on Saturday expressed concern over panic buying of essential commodities during Covid-19 lockdown.
President of KTA Aijaz Shahdhar appealed traders fraternity to keep essentials available at reasonable prices especially vegetables, chicken, meat, milk, groceries, and do their bit to help the distressed community.
“We also appeal to our medical fraternity to keep enough stock so that people will not face any difficulty at this critical time,” he said, adding let government put in more efforts to check overcharging of substandard items and artificial hoardings.
“Kashmir Trade Alliance will cooperate with civil society and government for a smooth run of supplies,” he added.
