Yateem Foundation taking care of quarantined persons in Kulgam  

Srinagar: J&K Yateem Foundation (JKYF) Kulgam Unit in collaboration with District Administration Kulgam is taking care of more than two dozen persons, mostly students, quarantined at JKYF’s orphanage, Baitul Hilal, in the district. The volunteers and the staff members of JKYF are attending to the requirements of the quarantined persons.
Volunteers and JKYF employees serve breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner to 31 quarantined persons and to 8 girl students quarantined at  nearby Nursing College. The grocery and other raw material for food is provided by the district administration while the Foundation provides cooking and other facilities at its kitchen.
Adequate arrangement of bedding has been made by the foundation, the JKYF said. Holy Qura’n copies have been provided to all the persons under quarantine. JKYF senior volunteer Ab Majeed Laway in close coordination with Mohammad Sadullah supervises overall arrangements. Chairman of the foundation, Mohammad Ahsan Rather, has urged the volunteers to come forward proactively to help all the needy people in this hour of global humanitarian crisis in all possible manner.
