Health department is ready to tackle every situation: CMO Baramulla

BARAMULLA: The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Baramulla Dr Deeba Khan on Thursday said that health department in across the district Baramulla is ready to handle every situation. She said that all the doctors and other paramedical staff in every hospital and other sub centres are fully equipped and we made all the arrangements to tackle the incoming situation. She said that department are purchasing other medicines and other equipment s which currently are not available at our stock.
Dr Khan said that isolation wards has been set up in Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla and other sub district hospitals across the district so that they can admit virus effected people if any, however so for there is no such case in overall district. She appealed people to not venture unnecessary and not to visit the markets and other crowded places. She said that people are requested not to visit hospitals unnecessary, “As one can stay home he can be safe”.
Dr Deeba Khan said that isolation wards has been set up some far from hospitals so that other patients, visitors could not be infect and the medical staff of such wards are fully equipped and trained, she appealed people to cooperate with health department and inform nearby health centre if you came from out of state, she said if people can not cooperate we can not stop such deadly virus.
She said the students are coming from out of state, the parents of such people should inform nearby health centre so that doctors can check them properly and if needed we will admit the patient in our isolation wards and the said
