3 medical shops sealed in Pampore for violating norms

PAMPORE: Three medical shops were sealed during a raid by a team of government officials for violating norms while as rupees 9100 fine was recovered from various shopkeepers for black marketing on Friday .
The team included officials from revenue, drug, food safety and meteorological departments.
They inspected various shops including pharmacies, drug shops, drug and cosmetic shops, vegetable stalls, fruit sellers, bakery shops and other food items.
Tehsildar Pampore, IshtiyaqMohi-ud-Din told Kashmir Reader that the aim of the drive was to check black marketing in the market particularly of face masks and sanitisers.
He said that three medical shops were closed down by drug Inspector till further orders for violating norms of licence.
The team fined a number of shopkeepers for violating different norms and around a fine of rupees 9100 was collected from erring shopkeepers.
