BARAMULLA: Police on Friday said that they busted a fake driving licence and Aadhaar card racket in Baramulla district and arrested one person. In a statement, police said that they received several complaints from past several weeks that someone in Rafiabad area was providing fake driving licence and Aadhaar cards to people and these documents are completely fraud and incomplete. They said that following the complaints, a police team raided a computer shop namely “A R Computers” owned by Arif Hussain Wani of Rohama Rafiabad and during search incriminating materials including printer, scanner, fake driving licences, Aadhaar cards etc were seized. Police said that accused was arrested and a case under relevant sections of law were registered against the person. The further investigation is on, police added.
