SRINAGAR: The Weather department on Wednesday predicted light to moderate rains in plains and light snowfall in higher reaches of Kashmir from February 28
Director of Metrological Centre Srinagar, Sonum Lotus said Kashmir is expecting light to moderate rains in plains and light snowfall in higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir from February 28.It will continue till Feb 29, he added.
“Moderate snowfall is also expected at some places in Kargil district like Zojila, Dras, Zanskar,” he said.
He that there is also high probability of thunderstorm, lightning and hailstorm at scattered places which may lead to landslides in Banihal-Ramban axis.
