Barmulla: After a brief lull, India and Pakistan troops exchanged heavy fire along Line of Control in Karnah village of Kupwara on Saturday evening.
An official said that Pakistani forces targeted several posts of Indian army in the evening. He said the firing returned after several weeks.
SHO Tangdar Wasim Ahmad confirmed that cross-LoC firing erupted in the village.
There was no report of any injury or damage to property when this report was being filed.
