PULWAMA: About 337 cubic feet of illegal timber was seized at Khonmoh by Forest Division Awantipora on Sunday.
A team of forest officials raided Anmol industries ITI complex SIDCO phase 2-3 and seized 307 cft of timber along with 37 feet of Kail varieties of timber along with three bandsaws.
The seizure, according to officials, was a big achievement and they have started a through probe to see how this much timber was cut illegally.
Top official said that they have initiated action against two forest officials.
