Fulfil goals of oath: DGP to fresh recruits

SRINAGAR: The Director General of Police Dilbag Singh thanked the government, especially Lt. Governor GC Murmu for taking keen interest in Police welfare.
He said Lt. Governor visited the police headquarters on the very first day of the opening of offices in winter capital, which reflects his concern for the welfare of police force.
Singh lauded government of India for enhancing the remuneration of SPOs, enhancement in ex-gratia for slain police personnel and the J&K administration for enhancing ration money allowance and hardship allowance the police.
Addressing the pass outs, the Director General of Police complemented them for undergoing rigorous training successfully.
He said that the parade, turn-out and the ambiance of the whole programme shows the hard work of staff of the PTS Manigam.
While complimenting the passing out turnout, Singh hoped that they will work with dedication for the nation and UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
He advised the recruit constables to perform and fulfill the goals of the oath which they have taken. He said that the composition of the batch is an example of unity in diversity.
“J&K Police has achieved a lot on different fronts yet we will have to work further to bring peace and happiness to the UT and to bring the terrorism to an end. The DGP also thanked the media for their role in maintenance of law and order as also in giving coverage to the work of J&K police,” he said.
