Shopkeeper killed in Tral

Anantnag: A civilian was shot dead on Wednesday afternoon by unknown gunmen in south Kashmir’s Tral, a police official said.
The slain was identified as 33-year-old Mehraj-u-Din Zargar of Kawarnag Tral. He was proprietor of a readymade garment shop in the town.
A police official said that Zargar was shot at 3:15 pm outside the premises of his shop at main town Tral. The shop was closed at the time he was shot.
Zargar was rushed to a sub district hospital Tral where he was declared brought dead.
“We have registered a case and investigations are on,” the official added.
