More rains from Wednesday: MeT

SRINAGAR: Amid dip in mercury after rains lashed in the Valley on Sunday, weather department has predicted more rains from Wednesday.
The Valley received first bout of November rainfall on Saturday night which intermittently spread through Sunday. It resulted in dip in temperature prompting people to wear warm clothes.
Meanwhile, weather in the Kashmir is likely going to be dry till Tuesday, said Director Metrological department Sonum Lotus. From Wednesday to Friday, it will be again rainy, cloudy, and chilly, he said.
“It will be cloudy on Monday and Tuesday but there will be no rainfall until Wednesday.”
The rainfall was also witnessed in Leh, Zanaskar and Kargil, he said.
Lotus said there was a drop in temperature from an average 19.3 Celsius to 16.5 degree Celsius.
However, traffic was plying smoothly on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
