School torched in Shopian

Shopian: A government school designated as examination centre for class X board exams was torched by unknown persons on Friday night.
Sources told Kashmir Reader that the government high school at Kundal village of Shopian sustained partial damages after the timely intervention of locals and fire fire-fighters who brought fire under control.
Locals said that fire broke out at the school at around 7:30pm.
Last month a government school was torched by unknown persons at Watoo village of neighbouring district Kulgam.
Locals said Police reached the spot and were taking on Saturday morning to investigate the incident.
