Constitute flying squads to prevent copying in Bord exams: Div Com to DCs

SRINAGAR: Ahead of BOSE exams, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan Saturday asked Divisional Commissioner’s to constitute flying squads to check and prevent copying at the
examination centres.
Khan made these directions while chairing a meeting to review arrangements for upcoming Board of School Education (BOSE) examinations – which will commence from October 29 across Kashmir Division.
“It was given out that Education department and Board of School Education shall share the details of examination centres and invigilators and Superintendent to the respective Deputy Commissioners
including SSPs in order to facilitate the process of examination. The information shall include the name of the examination centre, location and name of the invigilators with contact Numbers and
class wise number of students appearing in the examination,” the statement said.
Secretary BOSE was asked to ensure deposition of examination material with the respective Police Stations well before the exams. After conclusion of the examination, filled-in material shall be
deposited in the Police Station.
The meeting was informed that Deputy Commissioners have established control rooms headed by the ADC which shall include the respective Chief Education Officer, Assistant Secretary BOSE, Officer
from Police and concerned SRTC besides ARTO.
“Deputy Commissioner shall impose Section 144 around the examination centres and shall deploy magistrates to each examination centre. Besides, sufficient Police deployment shall be made around the
examination centre to deal any law and order situation,” it said.
For hassle free transportation services to students, SRTC shall deploy adequate number of buses in each district as per the demand, it added.
Director School Education and Secretary BOSE were asked to ensure that heating arrangements put in place well before the commencement of examination.
