Srinagar: Police on Friday claimed to have recovered a dead body from Nallah Sindh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

A spokesman of police said that one male dead body identified as Shabir Ahmad Lone (aged about 28 years) S/o Mohammad Sultan Lone R/o Arch, Ganderbal was fished out from Nallah Sindh.

“Reportedly the said person had gone for fishing yesterday and did not return back” , the police official said.

“It appears the death is due to drowning. Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up by the local police”,  the official further added.
