Srinagar: Police on Thursday claimed to have conducted searches in a residential house in Beerwah village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A spokesman of police said that that  continuing investigation of Case FIR number 37/2018 registered at P/S Beerwah Dated 25/03/2018 search warrant was obtained from the competent court and accordingly house of Maqsood Ahmad Khan S/O Mohd Maqbool Khan of Check Marg Arizal Beerwah was searched on 29/03/2018.

“Assistance of civil independent witnesses was taken during the search and proper legal procedure was followed. Legal Documentary work was also completed on spot”, the police official said.

“The material recovered during the search will be duly processed for judicial endorsement. Investigation of the case is under progress” , the official added.
