Handwara: The students of Government Higher Secondary School Behnipora in north Kashmir’s Handwara area on Wednesday protested against the non-availability of the required teaching staff in the school.
Reports said that the students took a 6 km protest march from the institution.
Protesting students said that they are suffering due to non-availability of teachers saying that one month has gone and they are still facing staff crises.
Following the protests, administration immediately reached the spot and assured students that within three days sufficient staff will be provided in the institute.
Meanwhile civil society members of Rajwar Handwara expressed anguish over shifting of teaching staff from Middle and High Schools to Higher Secondary School Behnipora.
