Sopore: Two persons were killed in a road accident at Hamray pattan area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District on Wednesday evening, police sources said.

They said that an accident took place on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad National Highway at Hamray Pattan area when a speedy truck bearing registered number JK05C- 6168 hit a private Santo car bearing registration number JK09-8208 which resulted in death of two persons travelling in the car.

Police officials confirming the accident identified both the deceased as Aashiq Ahmed War son of Sanawallah War and Azad Ahmed Pir son of Mohammad Amin Pir both residents of Nowgam Handwara.
