Srinagar: Kashmiri photojournalist Kamran Yousuf, who was arrested for allegedly pelting stones six months ago, was today released from a Delhi jail.

Pertinently, Kamran was granted bail by a National Investigative Agency (NIA) special court in Delhi on Monday and was released today against two sureties of Rs 50,000, according to the bail order.

Kamran, a freelance photojournalist from Jammu and Kashmir was arrested by India’s NIA on September 5, 2017, and later charged with sedition, criminal conspiracy, and attempting to wage war against India.
