Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district to mourn the killing of a local militant in a gunfight with forces at Hakura Anantnag yesterday.
All shops, schools and other business establishments are closed in Kokernag tehsil.
Pertinently, three militants including Syed Owais of Vailoo area of Kokernag – were killed in a gunfight with forces in Hakoora village of the district in the wee hours yesterday.
